Obituary - BRUCE HUXHAM
 "Falconer and member of the club for over 10 years.Bruce rarely missed a monthly meeting and supported the club and region wholeheartedly. Nothing got in the way of his hawking. He will be missed by us all.

The South West Region meets near Exeter on every third Monday in the month and normally get 12-24 people attending.

We try to have a falconry linked speaker every other meeting and on the evenings when we haven't had a speaker we have held quiz's or had video's and slide presentations of falconry trips abroad including the Czech republic and 2e N.A.F.A field meets.

We are lucky in having two superb wildlife artists as local members and both Dave Scott and Andy Ellis regularly bring in work for us to admire.

Every third month we have a food drop by Honeybrook farm, we also keep a few boxes of hawk food for members in case of emergencies in between deliveries.

Every month there is a brief local newsletter, which lets you know about forthcoming field meets and speakers. Members are welcome to advertise services and items wanted or for sale.
New members are always welcome as are those who are just thinking of joining. Just make yourselves known to one of the committee and come along to one or two meetings and see what we get up to.
